A graduation tribute from the people who shared the journey

A graduation video can tell the story behind the achievement: the people who helped, the school memories that mattered, and what comes next.

Sample brief: from the first day to the next chapter

Choose a few photos from the school years and invite the people who know the graduate to add a specific memory or wish. Include classmates, family, and a teacher or mentor when appropriate. Use locations to connect the places in the graduate's journey.

What to gather

What you are aiming for

A tribute that shows how the graduate grew, recognizes the people behind the achievement, and welcomes the next chapter.

How to make your version

4 steps from the first idea to the finished video.

Explore graduation slideshow and video ideas
  1. Plan around the graduation date

Choose Graduation in the invitation builder and set the reveal date. Decide whether the video is for a family gathering, a party, or a private gift. Set a collection deadline that leaves time to review the contributions and test playback.

  2. Give each contributor a clear prompt

Share one private invitation link. Ask for a favorite school memory, a quality they admire, or a wish for the next chapter. Offer photo and written-message options alongside video. A teacher or mentor can contribute if they are comfortable doing so.

  3. Build a story across the years

Start with an early photo, follow a few school milestones, and finish with the graduate today. Add school or campus locations if they help explain the journey. Choose a slideshow for a photo tribute or a map video for memories across different places.

  4. Review for the celebration

Check the graduate's name, school, and year. Keep captions readable and spoken messages audible. Confirm that school and group photos can be shown to the intended audience. Export and test the video on the party screen or recipient's device.

Small choices that help

  • Ask classmates for one specific memory so messages do not all sound alike.
  • Include achievements, friendships, and everyday moments instead of relying only on ceremony photos.
  • Check with the people pictured before making a school or class tribute public.
