SAMPLE BRIEF
Imagine a small group collecting one favorite memory and one birthday wish per person. This sample plan is a starting point for your own celebration, alongside the product demonstration above.
- One favorite photo from each contributor
- A short video greeting or written wish
- A deadline before the celebration
Aim: A video that introduces the recipient, brings the group together, and ends with a shared birthday wish.

STORYBOARD
1. Opening: Introduce the recipient and the occasion.
   Prompt: Happy birthday, [name] — a few memories from all of us.
2. Shared memories: Group photos or stories by theme or time period.
   Prompt: My favorite memory with you is…
3. Personal greetings: Give each person space for their own wish.
   Prompt: One thing I appreciate about you is…
4. Closing: End with a clear message from the whole group.
   Prompt: Here's to the memories still to come.

CONTRIBUTOR MESSAGE — replace the placeholders before sharing
We're making a surprise birthday video for [name]. Please add one favorite photo and a short greeting, or write a birthday wish if you prefer. Try: 'My favorite memory with you is…' Please upload by [date] using [private contribution link], and keep the surprise within our group.

WALKTHROUGH
1. Set the brief and the deadline
Choose Birthday in the invitation builder and name the project. Tell guests who the video is for, whether it is a surprise, and when their contribution is due. Leave time between the deadline and the celebration to review the result.
2. Ask for one specific memory
Share the private contribution link or QR code with the group. Use the ready-to-copy message in the planning kit so people know what to add. Offer a written wish as an alternative to recording a greeting, and ask guests to keep video messages short.
3. Arrange the contributions
Review each upload, check names, and place related memories together. Choose a slideshow to focus on faces and messages, or a map video when contributors' locations add meaning. Remove repeats and give quieter recordings a careful listen.
4. Preview the birthday reveal
Watch the full video before exporting. Check the opening and closing text, readable notes, and audio. Download the finished version, then test it on the screen or device you will use for the celebration.
