Compare photo size and sharpening
These three 750 × 1000 source files show the same scene. Choose a version, then compare its small presentation with its actual-size pixels. The originals remain available below.

The sharpened and blurred files are separate treatments of the original. The sharpened image is not a repair of the blurred image. The creator reports Unsharp Mask Amount 50, Radius 2 and Threshold 15 for the 2018 Pixlr example. These values are not a universal preset or a verified current Pixlr workflow.
What to inspect
- Compare the thin branches against the sky and the tree bark. Sharpening makes edges more forceful; it does not prove that new scene detail has been recovered.
- Switch the blurred file between the two sizes. The smaller display makes the softness less prominent while preserving the same file. It does not restore focus.
- If bright outlines, harsh texture or changed facial features distract you, keep the original or choose a smaller frame. This sharpening example is a comparison, not a recommended treatment for every photo.
Actual size here means one image pixel per CSS pixel at 100% browser zoom. Device-pixel ratio and physical screen size vary. On a phone, scroll within the image frame; the surrounding page should fit. Check your final video on its intended screen too.
